Managers at all levels in the UK's public passenger transport industry were rewarded for their skills, talent and commitment at the Passenger Transport Management Awards ceremony held in London on Friday 12th June. Over 30 people at all levels from bus and rail companies received prizes - winning awards in twelve categories or receiving commendations for their work.

The prizes were presented at London’s prestigious Tower Hotel by Sir Moir Lockhead, the Chief Executive and Deputy Chairman of one of the world's largest public transport operators, FirstGroup. The ceremony was compered by the BBC northern transport correspondent Alan Whitehouse.
